Making music videos has become a part of releasing music that I really enjoy. I’m lucky to have found such brilliant collaborators in Przemyslaw Marek Przystup and Brenden Senden, who also created videos for Run On Child, Dig Me Up, and The Well - all of which can be found on my YouTube channel.
Prz getting some close ups. Often, a combination of the energy, character, and lyrics of the song will offer something to me in terms of imagery. Conversations usually begin with sharing a board of ideas for concept and shot inspiration, followed by finding the right location to realise these ideas.
The star of the show: the beloved Dorset coastline. We filmed the clifftop shots for the ‘Holding Up The Sky’ video on the beautiful and very windy Dorset coast last February - an invigorating experience!
The wind brought something unexpected to play with. I was happy to move slowly and let it do the dancing...
